1. Grateful Ball

The Grateful Ball comes to Plymouth, NH, with Tony Markellis (Trey Anastasio Band) + Zach Nugent (formerly of JGB). With the Trey Anastasio Band, Markellis has appeared on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Late Show with David Letterman, Last Call with Carson Daly, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and Austin City Limits, as well as the syndicated radio show World Café. It usually only takes one show to understand why Zach Nugent is one of the most sought after guitarists in the live music scene. Come out and see what they have to offer!

2. NHSCOT’s Hogmanay Celebration

Ring in the New Year at NHSCOT’s Hogmanay Celebration at the Derryfield Country Club. Join revelers of all ages to get the party started. Enjoy lively activities and spirited competitions indoors and out.

Outdoors, Rebel Collective and the Pipes & Drums of NHSCOT will be pumping out tunes in a heated tent complete with a bar stocked with whisky and hot chocolate. Fire pits will warm s’more makers, sledders and competitors looking to win the haggis throw, Scotch egg spoon race and hula hoop challenge.

Indoors, warm up by testing your skills at Stramash, a popular Scottish strategy board game (we’ll teach you how to play), doing some Scottish Country Dancing or finding the right puzzle piece to complete the Team Puzzle Challenge.

Wear your Scottish finery because Hogmanay Royalty – Lord, Lady, Lad and Lassie – will be chosen at 6 p.m. Royalty will lead the closing “torch-lit” parade and in the singing of Auld Lang Syne. Get your Scot on to welcome 2020!

3. Cozy Knit Blanket Workshop

Join in for this super popular hands-on workshop! This DIY workshop features new cozy, hand-knit throw blankets. You will get 140 yards of chunky chenille yarn in your choice of colors and your throw will measure approximately 40″ x 60″ depending on the tightness that you knit it. No experience necessary!
