1. The 61st Annual Canterbury Fair

An annual volunteer-run celebration of small-town community, this year’s Canterbury Fair will once again kickoff with the Woodchuck Classic 5k Road Race and 2K Chipmunk Classic Kids Run.

The Canterbury Fair will also include local artisans and craftspeople, delicious food to satisfy every craving, traditional Morris dancing, children’s games on the green, a huge What-Not “tag” Sale, a used book sale, an abundance of live music, an antique tractor display including a Farmall for the kids to climb on, canoe polo on the fire pond, and more!

2. A Day at the Farm

Remick Country Doctor Museum Farm, located in quaint Tamworth Village, is a picturesque rural life museum and a working farm. Feel as though you’ve stepped back in time the past is blended with the present to share the rich history of two country doctors and their village farmstead. 

Morning and afternoon activities include farm tours, historical games, Learning Kitchen demonstrations, Meet the Gardener, machine-milking demonstrations and more!

3. “Chicago”

Pop! Squish! Seduction! Murder! And of course, music, as the Second City takes center stage in this bold and brassy Broadway hit. When two murderesses grab for the headlines they reframe fame and fortune into a sensational version of the American dream. No matter who gets in their way. Get out of your cellblock and shimmy to one of these premium performances this summer!

4. NH Music Festival: Meredith Sculpture Walk

Various venues in the Lakes Region will come alive for this festival with the sounds of orchestras, choruses and professional soloists on instruments and voice. 

Enjoy a musical walk through this outdoor, 32-piece annual exhibit which winds through Meredith’s quaint Main Street and along the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. This event is part of the Music in the Mountains Series, which offer patrons an opportunity to experience festival performances in exquisite natural settings.

5. Manchester Brewfest

Manchester Brewfest will be pouring over 100 unique, local, and regional craft beers for you to try as well as delicious, local foods and non-alcoholic beverages.

This one day festival is held in beautiful Arms Park along the Merrimack River. This event is a 21+ event and positive ID is required. Event will be held rain or shine.

The Manchester Brewfest team is proud to support The Friends of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center.
