1. Shaker Saturday

This season, Canterbury Shaker Village is unveiling a series of family-friendly Saturdays at the Village, running through October.

The first Saturday of each month will have special tours at 10:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m., designed for younger visitors and their families. This Saturday’s activities will focus on gardening and herbs!

Activities will include a garden scavenger hunt, making your own lavender sachets, herbal skin tonic, and homemade ice cream!

2. Castle Car Show

Bring your family and friends to this incredible gathering of automobiles from the past at this classic country estate. View stunning examples of antique cars dating from the turn of the 20th century in an equally stunning setting, and pick your favorite in the People’s Choice awards category. There will also be a featured 1940s category. Food and beverages will be available at Meadows by Shannon Pond.

3. On the Green Arts & Crafts Festival

Don't miss this fabulous arts and crafts festival at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro with over 110 exhibitors. Vendors will be selling cedar wood furniture, fine jewelry, decorative glass garden art, handpainted furniture, chainsaw wood art, gourmet foods, feather art, quilts, watercolors, wildlife photography, books, fabric creations, and more!

4. Peter and the Starcatcher

You know Peter Pan, but you’ve never seen him like this. The orphaned Peter is shipped off to a distant island ruled by a wicked king, but on the journey discovers a powerful secret hidden on the ship.

5. New England Reptile Expo

Come see thousands of reptiles on display and for sale as pets! Vendors will also be selling cages, supplies, frozen feeder rodents, feeder bugs, and many other reptile-related items.
