Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week? Don’t stress out about cooking the perfect turkey just yet. Take a breather this weekend to prepare for the holiday madness!

1. Gary Puckett and The Union Gap 

Come listen to Gary Puckett and The Union Gap at the Flying Monkey in Plymouth.

Gary Puckett and The Union Gap had six consecutive gold records and sold more records in 1968 than any other recording act, including The Beatles. Puckett is one of a few artists whose first five releases went gold. Not even Elvis accomplished this. Puckett played a command performance at the White House for Prince Charles and Princess Anne by special invitation of the president. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 p.m. This is an ages 13+ show.

2. Feztival of Trees

Buy some raffle tickets and pick your favorite tree(s)! Bid on the array of wonderful Mini Trees, and Wreaths! The Candy Cane Cafe​ will be open if you get hungry or thirsty and Santa Claus will be there for photos with children.

3. Season of Light: DIY Upcycled Lanterns  

As we approach the longest night of the year, join Prescott Farm to make your own lantern out of natural and upcycled materials including branches and tissue paper or metal cans. Then be sure to use your lantern to celebrate the Winter Solstice on December 21.

4. Farmhouse Kitchen Series: Baking Bread

Love bread? Learn to bake your own from scratch! You will use a simple no-knead recipe that makes a delicious, crusty artisan loaf – perfect for your holiday table. You will also experiment with a hand cranked grain grinder and learn a bit about the science behind how bread rises. An exclusive opportunity to spend an afternoon inside the historic farmhouse at Prescott Farm!

5. Autumn Centerpiece Arranging

Join LaBelle Winery for this exciting program with Apothēca Flowers! You will learn how to use organic and elegant textures to create festive florals for your holiday table. You won’t want to miss this chance to work with Apothēca’s floral designers in a hands-on environment!

Each guest will also enjoy a 5-wine tasting of LaBelle’s award-winning wines – additional beverages and a la carte brunch/lunch items from The Bistro menu will be available during the class as well.
